Here are some random pictures that I love. They represent life right now.
The girls had ear tubes put in and they had their adenoids removed on July 18. We are hoping this really cuts down on the number of ear infections they have been having. It was a hard couple of weeks postop, but they have seemed much better since they had their surgery. They basically had been living with chronic ear infections for 6-7 months before their surgery.
We always love when Uncle E comes to visit! The girls are obsessed with putting things on their heads (note the spoon).
Love my Sally girl!!
This is one of those pictures I know I will look back on forever and love. Sal learned to give kisses and she was making Mary Kate belly laugh while she was giving her kisses. Now ( at 14 months) they can give each other kisses. They think it is so funny!! Love watching them love each other. It is one of my very favorite things right now.
Playing with Maggie at IPC playground
I had gotten everything ready to put the girls in the baby pool, and it started raining so we played in the baby pool under the carport.
Girly girls- Mary Kate putting on my makeup.
I look exhausted in this picture because I was tired but I love rocking my girls at night and loving on them before they go to bed.
We always love being a part of the Forrest Spence 5K. This was the girls first year to get to go.
Evan and Clarke gave the girls strollers for their birthday. They LOVE them!! and they love their babies ( given to them by Sassy and Colonel).
Lastly, but most importantly, on August 27, BOTH GIRLS took their first step!! Talk about twins!!! We are so so prouod of you two. So glad Ford was home to see Sally take her first step. Sally did it first and then Mary Kate did it. Mary Kate has done it several times since then. Sometimes, she has even taken 2-3 steps. I am working on getting videos of both of them walking.
