Ford's birthday and other random pictures

Ford's birthday was last weekend. We loved getting to celebrate him and his life. Mary Kate was sick with a fever and a rash so we laid pretty low all weekend. I did get to take Ford to brunch at Café Eclectic, which was fun. We went to the new restaurant on Highland. It was great.

The girls are changing so much, so  quickly. Both girls took their first steps on August 27. We are so proud of both of them. Sally took her first step first, then Mary Kate took her that afternoon. Sally has done everything about 3 weeks behind Mary Kate so it was a really big deal that she took a step first. We laughed when Mary Kate took her first steps. It was like she saw us cheer for Sally and thought I can totally do that. Mary Kate took 2-3 steps the first time she took a step. Both girls are also learning some sign language and they have learned to say please, which is patting on their chest. On August 28, both girls learned to give each other kisses. My favorite thing right now is watching them love on each other.
