Easter 2014

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. It was full of family, celebrating our Risen Savior, and hunting lots and lots of eggs. The girls loved hunting eggs, and are still hunting them weeks later. Sassy gave us Resurrection Eggs and we have really enjoyed using those this Easter season as well. They are a great way to tell the Easter story to toddlers.
Wednesday of Easter week, we had some of our close friends over to hunt Easter eggs. The girls had a lot of fun "hiding" the eggs before our friends got to our house. We are so thankful for friends close in age to the girls. It is such a blessing and so much fun.

Love all these babies!

We are SUPER thankful that Sal had a good checkup on her spine on Thursday. Such a blessing and we give all praise to the Lord. Her curve is 11 degrees so we are continuing PT and observation. Proud of you, Sal!

On Good Friday, Ford and I took the girls to My Big Backyard. We had a lot of fun!

At the music house

On Friday night, we had Doug, Mary Catherine and Tim over. It was so fun to see the girls and Greer get to play together. They had a great time!! The girls were extremely excited the whole night!
They enjoyed some bath time fun!

Greer got lots of hugs and kisses.

They had lots of fun jumping on their bed with Greer. I was so impressed Greer was not scared at all. He loved watching the girls jump!

Saturday morning, we woke up to a surprise egg hunt in our cove. Such a fun surprise for all the families with little kids. All the kids in the cove hunted eggs in their pajamas.

playing with Blake.

Saturday am, we went to Sassy and Kerns to dye Easter eggs. I thought this activity was going to be a disaster but they loved it. Great idea, Kern.

Yours truly tried to eat one of the hard boiled eggs.

Then we hunted the eggs we dyed.

They love Uncle E!

Tim and Greer at the park on Saturday.

All the kids love Uncle Doug!

Saturday night we had a great dinner at Mimi and Granddaddy's.

The girls got bubbles, stickers, watering cans, and water bottles in their Easter baskets.

Easter morning.

Before church on Easter.

Mac and Tim came to IPC so we got some pictures with them after church.

We ate dinner at Sassy and Kern's. Of course, we missed Uncle Clarke like crazy!! It is never the same without him. We did have fun having Sara Tyson, Samuel, and Sam to eat lunch with us too.

We ended the weekend with water balloons in the cove. SO thankful for our neighbors!
And Monday, we went back to My Big Backyard with the Williams'. It is always a favorite activity of ours.

Thankful for a wonderful Easter celebrating our Savior!
